About Us

Located in Shanghai and Paris, Arcades is a sound production house dedicated to video games.

Arcades was established by composer Manels Favre, audio director Antoine Babary and CEO Jean Charles Lambert. The studio works with Asian and European video games studio and publishers.

Focused on quality, we have the skills, creativity and experience to achieve the most professional results to help you enhance your content with a world-class soundtrack and audio production.

Both our facilities include Audio Studios for music scoring and recording, VR showroom and Foley room fully equipped with high-send hardware and software.

Manels Favre
Music Producer / Sound engineer / Co-Founder

Manels Favre, founder of Roar Media, is a classically-trained French/Swiss/Belgian composer, sound designer and sound engineer with a Master degree in Cinema and New Media from La Sorbonne (Paris).. Over his 25-year long career, he has scored hundreds of projects, including theatrical films and animation series. Many of the projects he scored went on to win major awards, such as Erika Tasini's « Winter Sea » and Martin Donovan's « Collaborator ».

Antoine Barbary
Audio Director / Co-Founder
With dual master’s degrees in sound and computer science, Antoine is a multi disciplinary Sound Engineer who has been developing audio for AAA indie games on console, PC, mobile, and VR platforms as well as location based entertainment. Work includes projects for 2K, Square Enix, Capcom or Disney and awards such as Venice Grand Jury VR prize for The Hangman At home..
Nicolas Bredin
Lead Sound Designer

Graduated in Musicology and trained by renowned composers, Nicolas explored throughout his academic research the infinite ways of expression offered by Sound & Music. Senior Sound Designer and co-founder of Parallel Studio, he has been working in the computer games industry for more than 14 years, especially as Audio Technical Director (Ubisoft) and Audio Lead (DontNod Entertainment).

Lou Angel Bourdeaux
Sound designer / Composer
Graduated from ISART Digital Pars, Lou worked as a sound designer in film, video games, AD and trailer for over 4 years. His specialties include sound design, dialogue and music editorial and foley creation. He can also manage mixing in lots of different audio format including surround or binaural.
Cola
Project Coordinator

With nearly 15 years of experience in art domains and 5 in audio production studio in Shanghai and in Beijing, Cola has great insights of art forms such as painting, photography, sculpture, music, film and television, installation and so on. She has also participated in the creation of contemporary art works and assisted in curating of many exhibitions.
